Samis Education Center

The Samis Education Center is a five-story, 60,000 square-foot education and conference center located on the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center campus. This multi-faceted facility was designed to serve as a nexus for the learning and advancement of the health and science industry in Oklahoma. It plays a vital role in the public health community by attracting nationally renowned lecturers and corporations seeking a launching pad for events that promote excellence in the field of pediatric health. 

The Center’s primary attraction is the 278-seat auditorium which was designed for large-scale meetings, educational sessions, and events. It boasts conference-style and theater-style seating with state-of-the-art video and communications technology. Additional areas featuring this advanced technology include two large board rooms, a large multi-purpose room, and a series of small breakout rooms that were designed for small groups to teach, meet, and interact. The well-appointed lobby serves as a gathering space and is often used for receptions.

The facility also features a rooftop garden that is an additional area for outdoor receptions and awards ceremonies as well as a peaceful place of reflection for both patients and hospital staff.
