Our History
The Miles Legacy
Founded in 1980 by Garrett F. “Bud” Miles, Miles Architecture was built on a client-focused approach that seamlessly blends aesthetics with functionality. What began as a one-person laboratory design practice has grown into a nationally recognized firm known for its collaborative culture and tailored, high-performance solutions. In 2020, the firm was rebranded under the leadership of Jorge Charneco, who worked alongside Bud for 28 years and continues his legacy today. Guided by experienced leadership with diverse backgrounds and decades of expertise, Miles delivers innovative, forward-thinking solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities. We are proud to be certified as a Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
