Job Title:     MARKETING COORDINATOR

MILES ARCHITECTURE is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in promoting our architectural services and enhancing the firm’s brand presence. This position requires a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for architecture and design. 


Key Responsibilities:


1.    Proposals & Presentations

-    Proven experience developing proposals and presentations

-    Skilled in crafting visually compelling and content-rich responses to RFPs, RFQs, and design competitions.

-    Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.

-    Strong eye for layout, graphic hierarchy, and visual storytelling.

-    Comfortable managing multiple deadlines.

 

2.  Content Creation
-    Develop compelling content for various marketing materials, including proposal and qualification packages, brochures, presentations, and                 website updates.
-    Collaborate with architects and other team members to gather information and insights for content creation.
-    Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all materials.
-    Create visually appealing graphics and infographics.

3.    Social Media Management
-    Manage and update social media accounts to showcase the firm’s projects, achievements, and culture.
-    Develop and implement a social media calendar to maintain a consistent online presence.
-    Monitor social media trends and engagement metrics to optimize content strategy.

4.    Website Maintenance
-    Update and maintain the firm’s website with current project information, news, and relevant content.
-    Collaborate with firm leadership and web developers to implement updates and improvements as needed.

5.    Event & Sponsorship Coordination
-    Plan and coordinate firm events and sponsorships including community events, seminars, webinars, and networking opportunities.
-    Assist in organizing participation in industry conferences and trade shows.

6.    Public Relations
-    Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets, design publications, and relevant industry influencers.
-    Draft press releases and coordinate media coverage for significant firm announcements. 
-    Coordinate project photography.

7.    Market Research
-    Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and industry trends.
-    Assist in preparing reports on market trends and opportunities.

8.    Collateral Design
-    Work with vendors to create visually appealing marketing collaterals including business cards, signage, and promotional materials.

9.    E-mail Marketing
-    Develop and execute e-mail marketing campaigns to engage with clients, partners, and prospects.
-    Monitor e-mail analytics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven improvements.

10.    Database Management
-    Maintain the firm’s digital marketing files including project photography and profiles, resumes, client data, and business development outreach.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.  (5+ years of marketing/business development experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.)

Previous experience in marketing, preferably in the architecture or design industry.

•    Proven experience in developing and supporting the creation of proposals and presentations

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•    Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.

•    Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools is a plus.

•    Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•    Creative thinker with a passion for architecture and design.

•    Experience creating and/or assisting with creation of proposals and presentations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (emphasis on InDesign).
•    Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
•    The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
•    An eye for detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
•    An ability to interact directly with principals, senior project management, and staff at all levels.
•    Creative, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing and being proactive in a busy environment.
